ARCs are going out!

Hey everyone!

I’m just surfacing for some air. Then I’m going back under.

But really, that is kind of how it feels. Happily is finally through the editing process (which has kept me very busy) and is ready to go out to early readers. So, in other words, guess what I’ll be doing for the next few days?

If you guessed ‘Making a whole lot of review requests,’ then reach up and pat yourself on the back!

I’m looking forward to it, though. I’ve been so busy editing lately that I haven’t had much time to go blog hopping and see what all my bookblogging friends are up to. This gives me a terrific excuse to see what’s been happening in their worlds.

Okay, that’s it! If I haven’t already dropped you an email begging asking for a review from you, then I soon will! If you don’t want to wait, feel free to beat me to the punch and request a copy!

Happy reading!

  1. This officially marks the first time I’m excited for a fairy tale retelling. The cover is awesome, your beautiful writing from Home to Roost that I know I’ll get more of, and the twist you’ve taken on this classic story create the perfect storm of anticipation. Well done, friend!

        1. No way! Take off the gloves. I want the truth. Besides, I never really do get that sweaty anyways. Been freezing the last few months.

          1. I have no idea what you were thinking my not gentle hate would be, but I’m intrigued. I always think I come off as a kitten, but maybe there’s more lion in me than I thought!

            1. Well, you never know! You’ve just finished reading “Home To Roost.” You should know that I believe we all have an inner beast. 😐

              1. “Michelle, how’s your day going?”

“Good. But then I was compared to an insane, murderous rooster.”

Just kidding. I think it’ll be hard for me to hate this book. Home to Roost was one of my favorite books in a long time.

  2. Hi Chauncey!
Yay! Congrats on finishing the editing process! That is awesome that you are done your novel! I know how it feels to resurface after lots of time spent writing/editing haha 🙂

  3. Congratulations!! So exciting to be done with editing I am sure! 🙂 I am just about to pour a cup of coffee and read some more of Cleaving Souls (may finish it today and I feel confident in releasing this spoiler alert on my upcoming review: it is so good!!) and I cannot wait to read more of your work soon!

    1. Thank you, Jaynie! I’m so glad that you’re enjoying it! 🙂 It’s always a bit nerve-wracking to ask someone to read my work, but very gratifying to see them appreciating it.

  4. I want you to know that I woke up, saw this in my inbox, starting reading, then realized it was 4 in the morning and went back to sleep. So happy to have book number 3 in my hands!!

  5. Well, I’m glad you let yourself come up for air!! We don’t want you drowning!! I’m glad the editing is almost done and hopefully you get a chance to rest and maybe take more than one deep breath!!

    1. Thanks! I’m taking a bit of a breather again. Just a bit, though. There’s still much work to be done! 🙂 And welcome back! 😉
